Austin Roots - Nottingham

Austin is an incredibly talented barber who has been a popular member of the 'Dandy family' for several years, with Master Barber Shane O'Shaughnessy his teacher and mentor throughout.

Based at our Nottingham shop, Austin offers a first-class service across our full menu; whether its a skin-fade, classic or long style - or beard service you're looking for.

Specialist: Skin Fade, Classic, Mullet, Mid-length, Long-length, Beard stylist.

Callum Reed - Nuns St

Barber Callum works out of our Nuns Street shop and guests at our Nottingham shop some Thursdays between 10.30am - 6pm.

He is an exceptional talent, with a broad skill set - specialising in the sharpest skin-fade and the cleanest traditional shave.

Services: Cut and style, one grade, beard style, deluxe beard style, traditional shave.

The Boss, Shane O'shaughnessy - Irongate

Master Barber, and founder of The Dandy Gent, Shane O'Shaughnessy is resident at our Irongate shop, but guests at Nottingham periodically.

Shane is the daddy of all barbers, with a wealth of experience in all aspects of cutting, grooming and shaving.

Services: Cut and style, one grade, beard style, deluxe beard style, traditional shave, nose and ear trim, specialist skin and haircare advice.

Mike Bowler - Irongate

Master Barber Mike has been with The Dandy Gent for over 12 years now, a loyal Dandy Gent stylist.

Mike is an exceptional barber - for all styles and using all techniques - who is also highly competent with the cut-throat razor. He is frequently booked up, so early booking is advised.

Ash Griffiths - Irongate

Master Barber Ash has been a valued member of the team, from the moment he arrived with us back in 2018. With 20 years experience and he has amazing talent with all styles and techniques.

Ash is great with junior dandies, keeping them entertained while he cuts. He is frequently fully booked so strike while the irons hot.

Lee Stuart-William - Nuns Street

Lee began his barbering career 16 years ago at Vidal Sassoon, Nottingham, and has gained a wealth of experience working across the UK.

Lee provides a quality service across all barbershop disciplines and provides a wash and razor line-out finish as standard.

Dean Thompson - Irongate

Senior Barber Dean joined us in 2019 at our Irongate shop, completing his apprenticeship while training under the team. Since then he has gained many loyal clients and you will find him fully booked most weekends. He offers a high quality service in hair cutting and beard styling.

Josh Collier - Nottingham

Josh, now the owner of our Nottingham shop, is a very skillful barber, super-quick without any compromise on quality. Top class all-rounder!

Charlie Constable - Nuns St

Clasically trained hairdresser, Charlie has several years of experience at our Nuns Street shop, and has recently returned to provide her excellent barbering skills for two days a week following the birth of her beautiful baby daughter.

Charlie is available Friday and Saturday initially, but hurry, she books up fast!

Oleksii "Leks" Storozhenko - Irongate

Oleksii is a talented barber with almost 8 years of experience having qualified and worked in Ukraine before joining us at The Dandy Gent. He offers a high quality service, specialising in classic cuts and beards.

Shaun Hoolan - Irongate

Shaun has been a barber for around 8 years now - bags of experience and talent, he's a quality barber in all styles - classic and modern!

Specialist; Classics, pompadour, fades, mid-length and long hair.

Tony - Nottingham (trainee)

Tony is our latest recruit at our Nottingham shop and is currently training for a new career in barbering.

If you would like a free haircut or beard trim, and to help Tony progress his journey and build his skills - give him a shout!

He currently works Mondays and Tuesdays, taking bookings via the App on Mondays.

Charlie Brock - Nottingham

Charlie is our latest recruit in Nottingham. He's been barbering for over a year, but cuts like a seasoned pro.

Currently offering hair services, but will soon be adding beards to his portfolio - watch this space!

James Davis - Irongate

James is our latest addition to the Irongate 'Dandy Family'. At the beginning of his barbering jounrey he is looking to gain as much experience to build up his wealth of knowledge!
